Sauna health facts
Although it is known that sauna has been used in history to eliminate various ailments, there has been no scientific evidence of health effects. In 2018, the first large population survey was published, led by cardiology specialist Jari Laukkanen.
Regular sauna bathing has a positive effect in many cases:
- mental health and memory
- heart function
- muscle pain and tension
- immunity
- skin problems
- vitality and joy of life
